Q: How about professional photographs or images?
A: Professional photographers hold all legal copyrights to their images. If you have such a photo, we suggest you ask the photographer for his or her written permission before sending the image or photograph to us.
During the checkout procedure, you will be asked to acknowledge that you are the owner of all rights to your image. |

Q: Can you add color to my carving?
A: The answer is yes, we can add color to almost any carving for a modest additional charge of $8.95. Our experience shows that color will especially enhance animal and artistict recreations, (like religious) pictures. We do not recommend colors as well for real life color replication on human faces. |

Q: Why are the sizes different from what I am accustomed to seeing.
A: All our granite stone is quarried and cut to size in China so it is done under the metric system of measurements. We will show both the metric and inch sizes in our web catalogs . We have chosen a standard selection of sizes which are very similar to those you are accustomed to in the USA. Actual stone sizes may vary ± 1/8" from those listed. This occurs when imperfections in the stone are removed during the cutting and polishing process, before carving. Your stone will be defect free… guaranteed. If you want to convert centimeters to inches just divide the number in centemeters by 2.54. (Example 20 cm converted to inches = 20 / 2.54 = 7.87 or 7-7/8" seven & seven eights) |

Q: Can I have a special size made?.
A: Of course, we have a direct relationship with the quarry so we can accommodate your every need. We can even decorate an entire wall of your home or office. Q: Can a shadow carving be framed?
A: Absolutely, a shadow carving becomes even more beautiful when displayed in a frame. We recommend taking your carving to a local frame shop where they will insure the proper size and type of frame for your exact needs. Many craft shops also offer kits for cutting your own frames. Be sure to choose a good sturdy frame because the carving is made of stone and is heavy. We also want to remind you to use a good solid wall anchor to hang your carving. |

Q: How do I care for my shadow carving.?
A: Solid stone needs very little care. A dusting now and then and that's it. Denatured alcohol will remove any grim deposited on the surface. We do not recommend soap and water since soap and water can leave a residue and water minerals which can build up over the years. |

Q: What happens if my order or special custom order is damaged upon arrival?
A: Each carving is hand wrapped and securely packaged in preparation for shipping to your home or office. In the unlikely event that your product arrives damaged from the freight company, we ask that you immediately write down any and all "EXCEPTIONS" on the Delivery Receipt. Q: Do you charge sales tax?
A: We are required, by law, to charge a sales tax to New York State residents at the current rate. |

Q: When do my items ship?
A: Please allow 3-4 weeks for your carving(s) to arrive. Each stone can take up to one week or more to carve. If you ordered multiple copies, please be a bit more patient. |

Q: Will all of my items come in the same shipment?
A: If you order multiple quantities of an image they may or may not ship in one container. This is at the discretion of the production shipping department. Each order is evaluated on size and the shape of the stones. For this reason shipping charges apply to each piece ordered. |

Q: What if I order multiple copies, will they all look the same?
A: No, however, just like snowflakes and oil paintings, each and every hand carving has its own unique and individual characteristics. Differences will be very subtle and may be very hard to distinguish. We are confident you will be pleased with every carving you purchase. |
